The visual direction of PRIDE 2021 was inspired by the notion of quite literally — taking up space. Our Design team wanted the words and images of people within the community to take up as much space as possible. In motion, we visualized the push and pull of these elements to fluidly interact with each other just as we do in real life.

SPOTIFY LEADERSHIP:

INTERNATIONAL PODCAST DAY

While longtime listeners know the magic of falling in podcast-love,

the feeling’s hard to explain to those who haven’t yet found “the one.”

So, Spotify is playing matchmaker - encouraging listeners to get out there and find something real. 

Our design direction for International Podcast Day sought out to accomplish just that.

SPOTIFY EMPLOYER BRANDING:

MY DESK, MY HOME

Various drawings I completed for Spotify as a social initiative used across the board on socials. The initiative was a documentation of the world's transition to a WFH office format as a result of covid-19.

Every assignment I was given nothing but a photograph to work off of -- a photo often just taken on iPhone. 

I then brought those images to life through illustration, primarily working off Illustrator and Photoshop.

SPOTIFY x STRAY KIDS:

IN生

Known for producing their own music and having a unique sound, Stray Kids (SKZ), are bold, unapologetic, and willing to stand up for what they believe in.

Their fandom, called STAYs, reflects this. The relationship between STAYs and SKZ is symbiotic, as STAY keeps SKZ grounded while they disrupt the industry and defy those who don’t think they’ll succeed.

On release day, fans are granted access to Stray Kids and Spotify’s “Virtual Access Festival,” a cross-platform experience that drops STAYs into the world of IN生.
